Looking to buy a TT - few questions
Right now I drive a 1999 A4 1.8t Quattro with 126k.
Since I bought it I have put what it's worth in maintenance, from timing belt, control arms, wheel bearings, bad turbo, etc.
I'm looking to get a TT, but am curious if I will be plagued by the same issues, or if Audi made these any better. I am looking for a 2001 or newer 225hp 6-speed coupe, quattro.
Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks in a advance.

After i bought mine last year (2001 225), I did the suspension, and TB kit. Otherwise, i've not had to do anything else major. I rebuilt the SAI pump, installed new horns, added new rear pads/rotors and will probably do front pads/rotors next year.
If you can do DIY repairs/maintenance, it is not that expensive to up-keep. I don't think it is any more trouble some or trouble free than any other VAG product.
