strut replacement
i am installing new struts and springs on the front of my 2001 225. other than the strut mount and bearing, what else should i replace while installing? should i replace the mount plate?

True that all that is usually bad is the strut bushing and bearing, but if you EVER want to upgrade further, this is the time. Don't do like I did and do struts and ball joints, one time, control arm bushings (defcon) another time, sway bars another time and camber adjustable strut bushings and lowering springs still ANOTHER time. You get WAY too familiar with taking it all apart and putting it back together the way I did it :-) And of course you need an alignment each time too.
