Windows and top not working

Windows and top not working
Hi, My windows and top stopped working the same day. The window made a clicking sound. The top can come down manually, thank goodness, it's hot here. My husband is a good mechanic but cannot find what the problem is. I hope someone can help me.

It could be the power cable. Try to unplug it.. Read a same situation on Audi repair, windows,top even the tank for the fuel won’t open.. he had it fixed by the dealer and replaced the power cable..
