Power Window Problem
My driver side power window would not function at all since 3 days ago. I was planning on making an appointment to check it out next week since it was in the up position and thus not a pressing problem. This morning I get in the car and it now works fine. Does anyone have any ideas about this self healing window ? Do I need to take it in and ask them to find a problem that doesn't exist now but could return ( in the down position possibly ) ? It is not a fuse as there isn't a fuse for the windows. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I have a 2000 black TTQC.

same problem here
sadly, though, I was hitting a drive-through window at the time.. I must have looked like a hungry fish that couldn't get out of the aquarium.
Anyway, what I managed to stumble across is that if I leave the door open (with the keys in the ignition).. the window will (after a few moments) self-correct itself.
Facts:
1. It has nothing to do with the roll-down switch since even the auto-sealing process it does (when opening and closing) does not function.
2. It has not yet malfunctioned in the rolled-down position (Thank God). Luckily, I live in a desert, but still.
3. The passenger side window has worked perfectly the entire time.

Window problem too.
While driving and doors are locked,if I open the passenger side window it works.Then if I try to close the window it goes up half way and suddenly comes down.But if I open the door locks , it goes up perfectly. Strange isn't it ? Any idea would be appreciated. BesTT to all.

Try this while they are working.........
when the window is in the up position, hold the up button for about 5 seconds. This resets the window, if it is quite you will actually hear it reset. I have to do this on my TTR, when the windows get out of synch with the top going down.
