A8 steering column fault
After valeting my car and using the steering columns electrical adjustment in order to clean correctly, the up/down movement will not operate? The forward/back is working fine but I cannot adjust the up/down at all, when I operate the the up/down I can hear some electrical motor noise for a short period but then nothing.
Can anyone provide me with details on how and what trim needs removing so I can inspect the mechanism?

The drivers airbag has not been deployed.
Both adjustments on the steering wheel were working. I think the motor has hit a limit switch or driven past the gearing? But as the car is so well put together I need to know how to remove the covers so I can check this theory out.
