Squeaking sound from suspension

Squeaking sound from suspension
I am sure other have been through this; When I make a sweeping turn I get a squeaking sound from the suspension. I had upper control arm bushing replaced recently, so I doubt this is the cause. Does the sway arm bushing make this type of noise? Any other suggestions on where to look?

Yes the sway bushings can make noise; haven't seen it on my Audis in years w/ OEM bars. Did run into it with an H-Sport aftermarket bar on my C5.
You might also look at the front sway bar links--the horseshoe shaped aluminum piece with the bushings to which the sway bar ends are bolted. After the front upper A arms, probably among the other most common wear areas in the general suspension design seen in D3 and other Audis since late 90's. Easy to change. Probably a part more likely to get sloppy than to squeak.
BTW, not clear if squeaking happens under all conditions. If so, we're all on the right track. If it varies w/ temp or is primarily right after you (the OP) first start driving, you have to consider the air strut units.

A second or two of very loud continuous sound? I wouldn't say it comes from suspension. Could it come from your brake? Floating calipers sometimes make funny sounds when wheel is under lateral stress. Try to touch brake pedal when you hear it (or expect it).

The sway bar links are most likely the problem, but the other thing that can cause that creaking groaning noise can be where the sway bar is mounted to the car. There ar two points with rubber bushings that mount it. As it twists the rubber may be dry and will cause the noise. Check that out first.

A lot of times you can have someone turn the steering wheel when parked and you can actually hear and see the creaking sway bar links. They are completely visible without lifting the car. I would try that as well.
