Input on tire size and spacers setup
Howdy. Got my stock 18" super fat fives refinished recently by a real artist here in Austin. Now looking for a more aggressive stance without being too aggressive (and breaking the bank). Considering ECS 12mm front and 17mm rear spacers on Mich Pilot Sport tires 255/40 18. (The pilots are relatively expensive, but I am fond of this tire.). Am I on the right track in terms of a more aggressive look on a budget? Any other concerns with this proposed setup? Also, what should the torque setting be when I slap on the spacers?Thanks for any input. Peace.

Yes, and the DW is quieter than the the DWS.
Because there's not much need for Dry/Wet/Snow here I got Dry/Wet (DW).
Our A4 has DWS and they are slightly louder than the DW's on the A8.
All of my prior vehicles had Primacy MXV4 and the Conti's are a huge improvement.

I used to run on Michelins too. They're great tires. But these days they aren't even competitive when it comes to price.
Mishar is right about the Continentals. I run the DWS because I wanted an all season that covered me for the few snow days we get every year. I will eventually be assembling a "summer package" so I can swap them with the seasons.
Oh, and the Contis are quiet. I've got several thousand miles on them now and I'm very pleased. I also like the ride quality better the the previous set of tires (not Michelin).
