Is it possible to modify the ambient lighting with VAG-COM
I just ordered a Ross-Tech VAG-COM and have so far disabled the seat belt chime, enabled remote windows with key fob, and modified the instrument backlight to always be on.
All four doors have ambient lighting under the top trim piece, but the front set turns off once the car is started. Is it possible to code this to be on with VAG-COM?

Why not just modify setting choice...
See owner's manual about using either MMI or the overhead button to select ambient lighting choices, which then allows that front door interior ambient lighting to stay on and be dimmed or brightened.

If you select city mode (which I use) all the lights are on in the car minus the dome lights obviously; and they are at max brightness too.
I'd like to have the instrument back light always on as well. In this does your speedo just stay lit basically?
