On any vehicle. BTW, I don't think Audi dealers do this and most independent shops, especially ones that do Euro car repairs do this kind of stuff. Just posting for info and to suggest you warn your fiends that rely on these types of places.

I used to use them years ago and I never left the bay while they did the work.
Depending on the region, indy's are far far worse, even some factory dealers I know pull this crap.
Like everything there are always bad apples while the majority do the right thing.

If one is not paying attention sure it happens. But not only at mechanics. Very same will happen with any service, retail store, restaurant, but also at dentist, doctor and lawyer. Perfect world exists only in our dreams. General rule is that yours is only what you can protect. That goes from your own bedroom to the country borders.
