S8 V10 or A8 W12?

S8 V10 or A8 W12?
Looking to buy a 2005 A8 W12 6.0 at 55K I just found a 2006 S8 V10 5.2 with composite brakes at 85k but in slightly better "visual" condition. They are at similar money.
I am finding myself very undecided which one I am more attracted too. I will take the S8 for a test drive tomorrow which might make my preference clear but I would be interested to read your thoughts on this.
Which one would you prefer and why?

S8. It is a year younger, it is lighter, has better engine and best possible brakes (that would give me suicidal thoughts when they have to be replaced), it is sportier (A8 is about that compared to Mercedes, for example) and it didn't sleep on its belly.

Simple decision.
Do you want more comfort or more performance?
Both offer similar performance but deliver it in different ways. Plush ultra luxury ride vs a streamlined aggressive approach.
My preference would be the W12 because of these **** roads we have in the U.S.

Beautiful color, B&O, as well as upgraded leather package. I would get this one if the price is right. Just because generally an S8 won't be as loaded as this seems. Somehow wrangle a temporary warranty of some kind out of them as well as a discount on the fist service. Just a FYI don't expect those brakes to be cheap they are SUPER pricey $$$$; but the brakes last an extremely long time so it's not a big worry.

however as far as i know Audi didn't offer composite brakes on any model in 06
how you figure they are composite?
comfort would be the decision maker as performance goes both cars are excellent and to explore the full potential on both engines you have to drive way beyond any legal regulations disregarding safety for you and others.
this week I have this hard decision to make at the end of the day.
