Fuel leaking under pressure... HELP!

Fuel leaking under pressure... HELP!
Hi there. New here and I need some help...
Need some options…
Girlfriend's 1993 Audi 90 CS @ 150,000 miles...
Engine wouldn't start for several days. Started checking battery, plugs… then ended up changing fuel filter (there was good change that the filter was never changed).
The car started up and I took it around the block. When I parked, I noticed a steady stream of fuel from the fuel tank area pouring onto the ground. I turned off the engine and after a few moments, the leaks settled down and stopped all together.
The leak doesn't seem to be coming from the filter. Is there a way to know where exactly the fuel is leaking from?
Need some options…
