Removing console (to fix audio connector)

Removing console (to fix audio connector)
Happy New Year all!
I recently had a passenger sit and lean on audio connector plug which was in socket (at the time) pushing it into the console between the seats. I have an 08 TT and looking to find how to remove console to repair or if anyone knows how the audio connector can be removed from top. I gently tried with a blade to remove fitting but wouldn't budge.
I am missing using my aux adapter for my ipod!!!
