P1631/P1634 Accelerator Position Sensor; Limp Mode
Left for work yesterday morning, get 2 blocks down the road and all of the sudden my gas pedal cuts out, EPC light comes on. Vehicle starts/idles fine, but gas pedal does nothing.
I hooked up our scan tool (I'm a service tech at a chrysler dealership) and found P1631 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 Signal too High, P1634 Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 2 Signal too High, and an Oxygen Sensor 1/2 Circuit High DTC (found that 1/2 sensor harness had dragged and rubbed through so I need a new one of those).
I checked All Data for any diag procedures. Under Accelerator Position Pedal Sensor, Testing & Inspection, it says to checked the Accelerator Pedal connector with a multimeter, the following cavities in the connector should have 5v with ignition on: 1+ground, 1+5, 2+ground, 2+3.
When I checked 1+5 i have 1.7-2 volts, and at 2+3 i have 1.5 volts. It says when specified values are not obtained to check the wire connections from Engine Control Module to sensors for APP.
