program garage door opener & no light will come on after holding for 20-30 seconds
We are trying to program our New to us 2001 Audi A6 & following instructions to hold the 1st & 3rd button down for 20-30 seconds until LED light flashes....ours will not flash.
Does this have a battery inside the garage door box on the driver's side visor?

There is no battery in the visor, the key has to be on the accessory position. Once the key is off the door opener no longer receives power. The door opener receives its power from the 12v from the car. Not sure if that is the issue but that comes to mind when you mention a battery.
