New to Audi TTs
My question. Is this a job that I should rely on an Audi Dealership to do or should I take it to an Indy.
It seems that this same or similar engine is in several Audis and VWs. Makes me think this is common enough that an Indy should be able to pull it off, but would like your input.

Many shops skip the thermostat, however you will almost certainly end up replacing it very soon .
It is involved and took about 10 hours. I used the kit from dieselgeeks, which I highly recommend. They include three screws for removing the water pump that saved the day.
The old timing belt was in decent shape but the belt tensioner was worn.
