Is this proper a/c or just fans??
I bought a second hand 2001 Audi tt coupe 1.8t, have to say really disappointed with the air con. Just wondering if it's actually a/c at all or just fans??? Did they do models without the A/c? The book refers to it as air con and Ecc. When I put the setting on low it blows a lot but I wouldn't say it's cold in any way, in fact today it was 22deg outside and the air through the vents felt warmer than that!
I'm hoping it just needs regassing otherwise I'm going to have to drive with the windows open all summer

Check the pollen filter, and both electric radiator fans work. Also check that the electric clutch on the AC compressor is engaing.
If that's all good get a leak check on the R134A.
