Help with ignition timing on 1990 20V?

Help with ignition timing on 1990 20V?
So this evening I hope to have the car together and ready to restart after the major services. In cleaning off the front of the block and timing cover, I expected to find some ignition timing marks to set the timing. I'm putting in plugs, cap and rotor and thought it wise to check.
Could someone with a manual or knowledge either point me to the procedure, or take a few minutes and spell it out? Thanks. I've been on a fruitless hunt for the Bentley for weeks. And the lack of timing marks anywhere near the crank pulley to use has me baffled and later tonight there will be no ability to make my own if something's missing on my motor. There is an odd metal plate on the timing cover near the main crank. But no marks and it's not really oriented like a timing plate would be. So, a bit puzzled.
The rotor is correctly pointed at the mark on the distributor edge and the car ran before I parked it a couple weeks ago. So no problems, but I'm puzzled by the lack of timing marks and didn't want to be asking this question later tonight when you are all gone from the forum.

The ign.timing is fixed on the 7A motor not adjustable set all the marks and you're good. Use the FW mark as the crank pulley mark can wander over time.
