1994 90 Quattro CS for sale

Spare key broke and is stuck in the ignition. I couldn't get it out or turn the ignition but main key is avail.

Clean Title/ smogged
163k miles
Many new parts: Timing belt, water pump, shocks, tires, battery, H4 HID headlights, CA legal Catalytic converters. etc

Just don't have the time to put in the works to maintain it. Selling it as is $1500 obo

A strong magnet might be able to pull the broken key out of the cylinder.
Never had to try it but it sounds logical.

Thanks but unfortunately the spare key is non magnetic metal unlike the orig key.

I never seen a key made out out Aluminum or any other non-metallic metal.

All my Audi keys including spare are metal.

Possible it was not original and a cheap knockoff?

That does suck.

A new lock can be purchased for around $180 but it's labor intensive to replace it.

The lock has to be drilled out to be removed.

You could try to be creative and take a coat hanger with some JB weld and try and glue it to the broken key if you can see it then pull it out.

Another choice, take a really small drill bit and drill into the key and then pull it out once you are deep enough.

If you have a dremel you could use that instead of a full sized drill.
