Service manual recommendations
I'm seeking a repair manual for my newly acquired 1993 100 CS quattro wagon. Online searches tells me there are not too many choices.
The Bentley manuals seem to be popular here, but complaints of registration and operating issues combined with a lack of help from Bentley cause me to hesitate.
I've seen the ELSAWIN manuals on eBay, but for the price of $14 I have to wonder about their quality or even their authenticity.
Opinions?

I've bought an ELSAWIN manual off ebay for VW..it did not work at all. Some kind of login problem and connectivity issue. $14 wasted.
Got a Bentley DVD manual on sale at Amazon for my Cabriolet, $88 including shipping. It is better for sure. You have to have an XP machine to use the Bentley I received and a DVD player. Most old XP boxes have a CD..
I don't think Bentley is updating the DVDs for Windows 7 on the older models. So a dedicated XP machine with a DVD player is a good idea.

Rusty, thanks for validating what I was kind of thinking... I've ordered the one you suggested.
Now, do dust off that old computer that I nearly relegated to the trash heap!
