2005 S4 - last of the B6's

I'm late to this forum... almost 10 years late. I bought my Silver S4 new in Jan 2005, and now sadly my all-time favorite car has been relegated to 2nd string (damn kids and their special chairs!). From the V8 rumble, to the 6-speed manual, to the cavernous almost wagon-like versatility with the seats folded down, and ultimately to the "riding on rails" handling in the twistys... a sad day indeed. No dis-respect to the B7's and the final years of the brilliant 4.2 V8 but, in my opinion, this was the pinnacle for the model.

At this point you may be asking: "why the post you idiot?" Well, I'm just venting more than anything, as I'm depressed at the prospect of having to let it go, and I suspect some of you out there may be able to sympathize. Ultimately I guess I'm wondering out loud to you experts with the product... how long before it's "classic" potential is discovered and values start rising instead of sinking?

Because at $7-$8K in KBB, I just ain't selling for that... I'll keep it for the ultimate beach/home depot runner car before I do that. So I guess my other question is, besides Craigslist and Autotrader, is there any recommended sites to list it for sale?

Sorry for the ramble... I just couldn't help myself. They say when you're depressed it helps to talk about it...

Explain to me why you think the B6 is the pinnacle of the models over the B7 (which is an updated version of the B6) ??

I wouldn't go so far as "halik" to say the B7's are ugly, but the transition to front "whale mouth" grill is a step or two down from the B6 front styling. But then to each his/her own...
