I have them disconnected up to the brackets above the driveshaft. It looks like they must withdraw towards the rear of the car far enough to drop the core of the cable thru the bracket slot. I can spin them wdithin the bracket but am unable to pull them out. Is there some sort of retainer there that I am not seeing?
