I have a new car!
Not really, but it feels like it. My OEM Goodyear's that were standard issue with my 19" sport package gave up the ghost at 17100 miles. I researched the market (Tire Rack and Discount Tire) and picked two; Bridgestone Pole Positions and Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I went with the Michelin's and the car drives and handles better than when it was new. Living in SoFLo now, I only need one set now and the Michelin's are guaranteed for 30,000 miles.
It's terrific when expectations are exceeded. They feel "planted" - are firm but not uncomfortable, and are great on "off ramp" turns. I had them do a 4 wheel alignment, and except for a small "toe in" adjustment, I was good to go. Stopping distance is much, much improved as well.
