radio only works when trunk is open
I have a 2006 S4 Cabriolet with intermittent radio issues. Apparently, the bundle of wires that go into the trunk lid have been bent too many times
and the radio only works when the trunk is open. It appears that the part is about $150.00, but my dealer says they need to remove a lot of trim to reinstall the wiring harness.
I am told this is a common problem. Has anyone have this done at a dealer? If so, can you give me a ballpark on the labor.
Right now I can only use my CD changer and my Nav thinks I am in the middle of lake Michigan.
