Gearbox Measurement, Please!!
Hey;
Project Question; Can anyone provide me with a measurement from a standard shift A4/A6 V6 trans? (My engine happens to be an '02 AVK 3.0, but I'm not sure it matters). I need to know the distance between the "bellhousing" surface (where the trans mounts to the engine) and the parallel surface where the throwout bearing guide tube mounts. You can lay a straight edge across the bellhousing surface and then measure to the guide tube mount surface with a ruler. I find that using millimeters are more easy/accurate in many cases.
