20x10.5 wheel issue
Got a problem with my new 20x10.5 ET27 aftermarket wheels I bought for my stock 2015 A7 TDI Prestige that came with 19" wheels and I believe nonsport suspension. The lip of the new rim sticks out past the fenders at least 0.5 inch on all four wheels.
I talked to the vendor who sold me the wheels. They state they sold similar wheels with same specs to another A7 owner with no issues. I sent them a pic of the wheel installed and they spoke to their manufacture who confirmed fitment was proper for my car. Suggested I lower the car. Will lowering the car with Eibach/H&R springs correct the problem?
PS. Pic shows a 265/35 tire on it which is stock 20" size. I know I need 275 or 285 tire on it.

The problem is that you need more offset with the increase in wheel width. More offset will move the wheel in.

It could have something to do with the TDI engine. I know the brake calipers are smaller in the front. The hubs could be different too. Check your stock wheels - it has the width and offset molded into the alloy on one of the inside spokes.

I've seen another A7 on this site with same spec wheels & Eibach lowering springs that appear to fit. Sent a PM to that person and waiting for response.
Don't think TDI engine makes difference because the wheel sticks out in the rear too.
