A7 - loud vibration sunroof

My A7 has a noticeable vibration when the sunroof is open and all the windows are closed. It goes away when one of the windows is wedged open. This used to happen on cars that had after market sunroofs with inadequate wind screen protection. But surely a new model like the A7 wouldn't have this issue. I also checked the wind screen when the roof is open and it seems to pop up to block the wind.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I have the same issue. It only happens if I open the sunroof all the way (As in open it with the one pull of the switch, then one more time after it opens)

The "buffeting" you are hearing is normal. All 4 of my A6s and both my A7s have always done this when opening the sunroof to its widest.

same issue for me & lowering the rear passenger window 1/2" reduces the vacuum and resulting noise significantly- just remember to close the rear window if rain is forecast...
