What's your exerience with tire treadwear?
Mine is a 2012 A7 Premium Plus, now with 47,000 miles. The OEM tires, Goodyear Eagles A/S, ran for 30,000 miles when I replaced them with the Michelin PSS A/S 3, 45,000 mile warranty tires. I just had to replace the PSS with only 17,000 miles on them. Tread depth was 2/32 on the rears and 4/32 on the fronts. They had worn evenly across the tread; I am careful to watch inflation pressures, balance, and alignment. This was a surprize to me. What's your experience with tire wear on your A7?

I have these on my 2012 Audi A8L and they are horrible lasting tires. I cannot get more then 17k on the rear sets and the fronts last about 30k miles which is incredibly dissappointing tires from Michelins. I had to get them prorated from tirerack. I have the 275/35R20 on my 2016 A7 and I put 6k miles on them and they are wearing very slowly because i got my alignment done with even toe front and rear for better wear so hopefully they will last past 30k but we will see. The other Michelin tires last far longer for sure. I doubt it has anything to do with you since you did balancing, alignment tire pressure etc and your first set of tires lasted much longer. Maybe try the DWS06 this time?
