WTB/Looking at 2001 TT 1.8T Quattro

Hey guys real quick question....been on the lookout for a project car and something fun to drive, not a daily driver. I came across an 01' TT quattro. Its green, but looks to probably need a paint job in the future, but low milage at 81K, and they are saying TB and water pump have been recently changed. Leather interior and top look to be in excellent shape. Is there anything I need to look/hear for if I get a chance to look at it, drive it?

Read the entire "looking for a mint roadster" further down the page in this forum. Your question is asked and answered almost monthly. Personally, I'd only buy a 2002+ because there were a lot of reliability issues the first few years of the Mk 1. My 2001 was in the shop about every 9 months while my 2004 was trouble free.
