looking at a 2001 TT 6sp Roadster...can I be sure it's the 225hp?

There are a host of other things you can check under the hood but primarily 225's are six-speed and 180's are five-speeds.

The roadster was only available as a 225hp 6-speed quattro or 180hp 5-speed fronttrak in 2001
