fix for "NO CD" on radio
I'm relatively new, but maybe I can be helpful.
I have a 01 roadster that had the dreaded "NO CD" on the concert radio. Searched for a while and found nothing. But I got it to work.
After fiddling with the fuse several times, I pulled the radio to check the connections. Everything was solid. So I pulled all the connections to really force a hard reset. Did not work. Noticed a 5A fuse on the back of radio, so I pulled all the connections again, plus the fuse. Replugged connectors, and then the fuse. Bingo! CD changer works.
Also, FWIW, I got the radio code over the chat on the audi usa website. But for whatever reason, I did not need to enter the code.
