mechanic says I need a new engine

He did a compression test and said two cylinders are at 0 compression. he pulled the intake manifold and those two valves are clean as the others are covered in carbon (shocking) Anyone ran into this issue? My car statred missfiring and died so I towed it there.

had the same problem, gasket was fubar between 4-5 cylinder.

dont buy engine till you test everything, and pull the head.
