Black Tailpipe
I was following my S3 in another car yesterday, and I noticed that the two inside tailpipes are so blackened that they become invisible. Anyone have any suggestions on how to clean them so they are bright again? I've tried normal car wash and it doesn't work. TIA

Squalo; was having the same problem on my '15 S3. Although I kept my car clean, I didn't polish the chrome tips often enough. Inside pipes obviously pass most of the exhaust gas. Not the cheapest solution but a permanent one. Much easier to clean now and I prefer the looks of the new, round tips. Just an option for you.

I use LimeAway spray and a rag. Works brilliantly and leaves a nice shine.
I also permanently opened the exhaust flaps with VCDS and by popping out the cable connector. This lets even exhaust flow through all 4 tips and the buildup spread out. Recommend it highly.
