Audi A3 mpg meter fluctuating
So I recently purchased a Audi A3 2015 from carmax a month ago, it all works fine. However, yesterday I noticed something very strange with the MPG meter. It suddenly started to fluctuate really bad, it jumped down to 0 all the way up to mpg's in the hundreds (wouldn't that be great) and then it went to "---" it was as if it was changing at the same rate as mph's. That episode only happened for a few mins. Since then, the mpg meter has slowed down but is still changing almost constantly in weird ways pretty much every minute or less.
prior to this, the meter would change slowly and actually act like it was averaging instead of changing constantly. I'm hoping I just have some setting enabled and this isn't something that i need to take it in for.

Just a heads up since you're new to the car and may not know - the menu button on the left side of the steering wheel gives you the option to change "modes" on the center display and within each of those modes you can scroll through different displays. So, for example, when I turn the car on I make oil temp my main display and then when I'm on the highway I turn it to digital speedo and just put oil temp at the bottom (activated using carista app).
