S3 Stronic (DSG6) Behaviour
Hi everyone,
Recently I've switched to 2013 Audi S3 Amalfi White from BMW 220d coupe. I've missed every bit of the petrol engine after a year of dull sense of tractor engine :laugh:
3 years of owning different BMW cars with ZF8 transmission, finally I've experienced the driving pleasure of an S-tronic gearbox.
The ZF8 on my previous BMW was doing its job great, but the dsg is really something else.
However, there are some issues I want to ask. is it normal for this dual clutch gearbox to make some whining noise in first gear at lower speeds?
I've read some of the forums that it is completely normal for DSG6 to make some weird noises but I'm unfamiliar with the regular behaviour of this gearbox and I'm not sure if it's the gearbox or something else.
Here is a video I've captured the other day, the noise is audible after 00.04
