I have A 2001 allroad That won't start
2.7 T 204k. Tip. Owned 14 years and has been my favorite car ever...besides my 73 911...Due to a misfire code, I pulled Ignition control module plug while the car was running. It stopped running. I immediately plugged it back in and re tried and of course no start. VAGCOM showed misfire codes and something about open ground. Cleared codes and systematically have since replaced Plugs, coil packs, ICM's, MAF, Fuel pump, fuel filter, checked the Sending unit. I am getting spark as the car will Try to start with starting fluid. I have checked voltage to the fuel pump and fuse which it's getting I've also replaced the fuel pump relay. The car has had a stage 1 GIAC tune for ten years. Wouldn't vagcom show something if I messed up ECU?
Any ideas? I'm desperate at this point. Can't get car out of the garage because the air suspension is now on full droop. What else should I be checking? When irun new scan nothing pops up.
