The front is a bit busy for my liking but is growing on me. Everything else about the exterior I pretty much love. And I have to say, the Galaxy Blue and Dragon Orange colors are REALLY nice.

I'm not sure how I'll find the dual touchscreens. I've appreciated the physical controls of Audis up til now. I think the control set in my Q7 is pretty fantastic and I like that I'm not getting screens all fingerprinty all the time.

Looking forward to seeing it in person and driving it one of these days.

I love buttons and ***** too...they are still there, in a certain regard. The haptic feedback, and their adjustments, are extremely well executed. Plusl, the new natural language voice command is very much ahead of the current cars, and I think people will gravitate to that more than anything.

You've used the interface? Glad to hear it's well done. I hope I end up liking it.

Anybody seen pricing yet?

Yes. I really enjoyed it, I think true to Audi form, it offers things no other brand has, but for Audi loyalists, it will be a natural progression from the systems they are already used to. It works like a tablet, you can move icons where you want, set favorites, etc. The haptics are fully adjustable from strong to weak, so you get to choose your level of feedback when using the touchscreen. No pricing just yet

Hey all...just looked at the order guide and I see that the Q8 will have 20" 275/50 wheels & tires as stock and 21" 285/45s as an option with Premium Plus.

Looking through various pix of the wheels available for the Q8, they're much more interesting (to me) than what's been available for the Q7. Do you think given that both cars have a 7,700 lb towing capacity that the load rating for the wheels will be the same and thus the Q8 wheels usable on the Q7? I'd love to have some snazzier options.

(I also noticed the buying guide has some other wheels available for the 2019 Q7 but there aren't pictures of them yet)

Man, I was just re-reading the AudiWorld article linked to at the very top of the OP...if the base price here in the U.S. is the same (converted) as the base price in Europe, I dunno how many of these they're going to move. Sure, it'll be the latest and greatest from Audi, but $90k as a STARTING point?! That's a high tax to get the next gen MMI and a slightly smaller SUV with fewer seats than the Q7.

Still scratching my head about the 31.3" wheels mentioned, hmm....
