Default Q8 Production Email
Got an update from Audi today indicating that my Q8 started production today! I wasn't even thinking about the vehicle because it seemed so far off, but this makes it [seem] real and I quickly started to feel anxious, can't wait!

Audi appears to be prioritizing SUV's over the sedans such as A8 and A7; market dynamics.

Congratulations! I placed my order a couple weeks ago and the port date I was given is 12/15. I can’t wait.

The sealesperson I spoke with said there is already on vehicle en route to the dealership, so she thought it would be here in early-mid October. I definitely want to see and drive the car before I place an order.

Dealer told me, assuming normal build, trip times it would likely be here before Nov 1. But he said that Audi has not released the official release date as of yet, so it could sit at port if the official release date isn't until sometime in November

Same here. I also got the message (below) from the dealer (NYC) this past Monday as I’m contemplating trading in my Q7. I did see the specs of the preconfigured cars they have coming in.

“I just checked again and while it is at the port there still isn't an eta on it. Once Audi officially announces the launch to us it will be soon after that but I'm still assuming sometime in November.”

Got an update email today indicating my Q8 is at Emden port but did not indicate anything about when it is expected to sail!

Got an update today, even though it is at the Emden port as of a week ago, they don't expect it to set sail until 10/19 and arrive in Huston on 11/13
He said there are already a number of them at U.S. port but no launch date provided to the dealers as of yet.
