A4 b7 3.0 tdi swirl flaps
Hi guys, every now and then (once a week or less) I get an error code and engine management light saying something about the swirl flap not reaching lower limit (sorry, code reader isn’t mine and I have a terrible memory) now my brother had a similar issue on his 2.0 tdi b8 and he just disconnected the actuator from the flaps and fixed it so they are permanently open and he’s had no issues for over a year, my question is can I do the same with the 3.0 tdi? Code reset is getting a bit annoying... car runs fine and all... I don’t like it putting the light on all the because if a real issue makes it come on I will just assume it’s the flaps and ignore it which could end badly, any advice appreciated.
