I have a tire and wheel question for my 08 A4 Quattro
Im looking at new wheels and tires for my car and everyone says the car has a 66.56 mm hub and that the wheels center bore should be the same. But when I got some 66.56 mm wheels they would not fit over there hubs. I measured the center bore on the wheels that fit the car and they are closer to 72mm ( could only check with ruler at this time will get a more accurate reading later tonight or tomorrow.) So my question is whether or not any of you have any clue what is going on. Am I missing something simple? Called the Audi dealership and they were not able to help over phone and it is a 2hr one way trip to the nearest dealership so I would like to resolve this myself. Plus every shop I've been to around here is terrible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

This site shows hub size as 57.1mm for the B7 and 66.5 for the B8.
Where are you located and what specific model do you have - maybe your VIN would provide us with a better starting point to try and help out?

Used your VIN to confirm you have a 2008 B7, just like me. Two other links above confirm standard B7 size was 57.1mm - maybe the hubs were changed at some point to a larger size, if that is even possible.
Someone else who can actually measure the size of their hubs will have to chime in.

Thank you for the help. I have come to the conclusion that the car was most likely modified by the previous owner and I am now trying to find out anything I can about suspension and drivetrain swaps. I was looking at the wheels that are on the car and they seem like the hub bores were machined to fit.
