Boost Pressure/MAP sensor Issue
Hello everyone, I been visiting this site for the past year. Thank you all for the inputs and help during that time, and for the future.
I have a very weird issue. My Vag-Com is telling me, that I have a short circuit with my MAP sensor.
I tested the wires with my multi-meter. I was getting 5Vs at the Blue wire, and the black wire has continuity to ground.
But, the signal wire (wht+blk) has continuity to ground of the car also... Is that normal? Does anyone else have that continuity?
My question to everyone is, do you think the signal wire is grounding somewhere? Or do you think my ECU is bad, and have push my car into a lake...?

hey I think i have the same issue. I also made a thread outlining my issues. I hope we can get ours fixed. I've tried replacing my MAP sensor and no change. My wires are getting power too. One is 1v, the other is the ground, and the other is 5.6 volts.

Hey Lucus, don't spend a bunch of money on your parts like I did. My issue was a short in the wire loom. I pretty much removed the whole wire loom from the ECU and the engine. I checked every single wire till I found it. I hope you found your issue!
