Hi folks,
Long time since ive visited any kind of forum. Last was when i was seeking education on the 8th gen civic si. Thats been years ago. I just got a 2005 a4 2.0t quattro (2005.5/whatever that means) and from what i read thats a b7, is that correct?
Looking through these forums to see what are some good upgrades to look into that wont break the bank right away.
Any suggestions on stuff I could look at getting to improve performance or looks?

Yes in North America, the B7 was available 2005.5-2008. The .5 means the B6 was being sold in the the early part of 2005, then partway through that calendar year the B7 family was what was being delivered.
Best bang-for-buck initial performance mod is a "chip" upgrade from one of the many well known vendors; search is your friend in that regard. From that point on it's all about how much money you are willing to spend.

Maintenance stuff first - then mod 
My daily beater is my trusty B7 2.0. Just clicked 160k this morning. Fantastic car, highest mileage I’ve taken a new Audi yet (157k was my previous high), just basic maintenance and one repair so far (thermostat was sticking)
