New guy joining
Hi , I'm just joining this form and will most likely be the chief (haha) mechanic for my daughters newly acquired 2007 A4 Quattro with 27,000 miles. I've been reading a few forms for the last month and hopefully will learn as well as contribute to the form. I've been a motorhead from back in the 60's and have worked on Triumphs , Daimlers , Corvettes , Jaguars , Volvos ,Ferraris and Lexus. This is my 1st dance with Audi so please be gentle on me. Thanks

A couple of things to check for, if you have already not done so. First, there is a recall out there for the ignition coils; and secondly, cam follower premature wear that could lead to major repairs. For both of these you can do a search here on AW where you will find some good info.
Good luck to your daughter on her new wheels and best of luck to you Dad .
