Hi , I'm just joining this form and will most likely be the chief (haha) mechanic for my daughters newly acquired 2007 A4 Quattro with 27,000 miles. I've been reading a few forms for the last month and hopefully will learn as well as contribute to the form. I've been a motorhead from back in the 60's and have worked on Triumphs , Daimlers , Corvettes , Jaguars , Volvos ,Ferraris and Lexus. This is my 1st dance with Audi so please be gentle on me. Welcome to the B7 forum jagtoes and to your new role as designated chief mechanic. What we won't do for our kids .

A couple of things to check for, if you have already not done so. First, there is a recall out there for the ignition coils; and secondly, cam follower premature wear that could lead to major repairs. For both of these you can do a search here on AW where you will find some good info.
