Oil Cooler/EGR changeout 2014 Q7 TDI
Getting ready to change out a EGR cooler and the Oil Cooler as well as anything I can while I have the v open. Never done this before but here goes. It started with random white smoke from exhaust and intermit low coolant with no sign of leakage. Looked in the V with a scope and did not see anything pooling up so guessing with the help of this forum that its burning off during my hour ride to work and then home. Had to change the oil this weekend and now i see a oil leak coming out from the v and down the front leaking down the dipstip tube. So I am looking for all the parts and downloaded as many of the service manuals from erwin I thought I needed and here is a list of parts I think i need to change. I cannot not for the life of me find the coolant shut off valve that shows to be attached to the oil cooler. Here is a list of the part i think i need. Does anyone know where to source these from and where i can find that shut off valve? Do I need anything else? Tools etc?

Just had our '15 done via warranty, so happy to shoot ya copy of part#/repair details. The only thing they didn't service/swap out was the EGR Cooler, so that'll mean another trip to dealer down the road. Shoot me a PM if ya want pics of the invoice from our '15 TDI. Be aware that @Edzzed has posted up his invoices on multiple threads, and has had just about everything replaced by dealer on his TDI now, so he's a great resource if you want to reach out to him via PM also.
coolant shutoff I think it’s called
UPDATED: Here's a good one:
It clearly shows the parts you are looking at, and gives you some good views. I just found this one and saw the parts in first minute of video; might be useful to watch it through.

IMPORTANT: On the Gen 2, 3.0L TDI motor, the HPFP was relocated to the extreme rear of the engine valley to utilize a chain-drive mechanism, and is only accessible once all parts removed in this repair is removed from the engine valley, so if you are planning to DIY this repair or even paying a shop to do it; please also consider the age and wear/likely longevity expectation of your HPFP and how long you would like to keep driving your TDI without another major repair effort necessitating the removal of these same parts again.
Similarly, if you own a Gen 1 TDI 3.0 motor, be aware the HPFP utilizes a toothed-belt drive system with tensioner and idler pulley(s), and it does require periodic checks and maintenance of the drive belt/system, but it's located at front, top of the engine, and so is much easier to access. Ignore your HPFP on Gen 1 or Gen 2 TDI at your own peril (and possibly much larger expense if it frags on you).
