Default Audi bumper gap

I just got my car back from the autoshop and didnt do a good job of inspecting the car before I left. When I got home I noticed there was huge gap between the hood and the grill almost like the hood was unlatched. The weird part is it looks like the hood and the actual headlights are aligned and I cant see it being physically possible to adjust the hood down any further, is there something on the bumper or grill that can be adjusted to move them up?

Check out the pics below, either way It's going back to the shop and they said they'd take the bumper apart and figure it out

You didn't share what they did to it, or provide stand-off pics to encompass the entire front end, so we can't tell what's really going on with it. These cars do use different front fascia bits, depending on the model and options. S-line cars get entirely different front/rear fascias than cars w/o that option, as do the rare V-12 appearance package cars, etc., and if aftermarket/reproduction parts got used on it, fit & gap issues are not uncommon. Bent frames/subframes also create panel 'fit' problems, unless absolutely everything impacted gets replaced prior to bolting up the exterior panels.

I had a car damaged at a dealership one time during a storm, and their own body shop used an aftermarket fender panel rather than the OE part, and you could tell when viewing it straight on and comparing to the other fender, that it was simply a poorly stamped reproduction of the OE part as gaps were off and didn't reach up to the A-pillar base like the OE part on other side did, etc. Make sure they use the real parts, either new or recycled ones, or you are almost certain to have fit/gap issues.

Only the bumper was replaced with the same version, it’s not an issue with incorrect replacement parts. The hood quarter panel and headlights are aligned, it’s the grill and bumper that seem to be about a 1/2 inch too low, they tried to adjust the hood and there is no adjustment window that’s going to close the gap. They think that during the re-install they did not correctly install or adjust how the bumper was re-installed. Just asking if anyone that knows Audi body work knows if there is something I can tell the shop before I drop it off

It looks like pretty shoddy work. With that gap, I would assume the hood is not fully shut.

I had a GTI rear bumper replaced after an accident and the shop left a huge gap in between the hatch and inside of the bumper. They tried to tell me that they were allowed certain width gaps (don't remember the actual number) as an acceptable finished product. Initially they refused to redo the work. So I had to bring in several photos of what the actual gap looks like from the factory to get it fixed right.

At the least your shop is going to fix the problem without giving you trouble. I hope it turns out better.
