Default Got my car back from the body shop w/ a big gap between the bumper and hood...

Has anyone else had this problem, and how do I fix it? It seems to be a pretty common problem, but no one has posted how to fix it. The gap is much larger than before I got a new hood and front bumper/grill, but if I adjust the rubber washers under the hood lip, the hood won't line up w/ the sides. I really don't feel like taking it back to the body shop if it's something I can do myself.

Default I have the same problem....

..And what's even more annoying than having a larger gap there than what it was from factory, is that the right side of my hood has a larger alignment gap than the left. Mine doesn't get any better by adjusting the rubber stoppers either so at some point im prob. gonna tell Audi that I've got OCD and have them re-align it because i'm sure it isnt too difficult for them to do. If you find out an alternative way of doing this and fix yours sooner, let me know man. Thanks

Default same here

The gap isn't even the same on both sides. I don't think the OEM hoods are the exact same measurements as stock.

Default Caution the following is very labor intensive

1. Remove front bumper
2. LOOSEN (do not remove) both headlights
3. With bumper removed you will see two large (and ajustable) bumper mounts.
4. Adjust these mounts and test fit bumper.
5. Check clearance with hood.
6. Repeat 4 and 5 until satisfied.
7. Once happy with bumper/ hood alignment, tighten the two top screws on each headlight.
8. Remove bumper.
9. Tighten two lower screws on each headlight.
10. Install bumper.
11. Align headlights.
