UK: A6 c6 2011 parking brake issues !!
Hi guys
I’m havin bother we my Audi handbrake and a few folks I’d to speak to you ..
it’s an a6 c6 2011 estate .
Handbrake was intermittent then stopped altogether. Had computer on it and it threw up a few faults .
Changed module, motors, plugs, button, checked fuses and still no joy.. had centre console out again last night and found a few Peerie crimps in the thin wires. Clipped them and ran a new wire to Module. Now only right hand side is working and it’s got a low /restricted voltage to left hand side fault . Don’t want to keep clipping wires . Fault codes 02432 & 00446 (supply voltage to left hand parking brake and function limitation due to voltage )

My parking brake issues have always appeared with battery related issues causing low voltage. That said, I added tape to signs of chaffing where the cable harness went through the body on the left side after reading others issues with the wire breaking.
