A6 C6 Dead MMI?
(HELP NEEDED) Audi A6 C6 MMI Not Working At All
The screen in my 06 A6 hasn’t been working for a while now. I’ve been doing my research and it seems that it’s a pretty common issue, but for everyone else their screen comes on showing the Audi logo and shuts off after a few seconds. However my screen doesn’t come on at all.I’ve already tried a reboot by pressing the 3 buttons simultaneously, and nothing (I also pressed the power button on the side of the screen and the power button for the audio to see if it was just the screen that’s broken, and nothing worked) I’ve checked a couple of the fuses in the left and right side of the dash (everything seems to be fine). I’ve learned that everything that’s deals with the MMI works in an “optical loop” and I’ve gone to the left side of my trunk to check if those components would get that red signal that that flashes, but neither my navigation, amplifier, or radio are getting that red optic signal. (Not sure if this information will be necessary but everything else in the car seems to work just fine except the screen itself and the buttons that control it, excluding the parking brake, that one button works perfectly fine)
I’m very new to this whole process, and I’m just very stuck at this point and don’t know where else to check or do. I don’t have any scan tools or a vcds cable. Can anyone help?

QUOTE=kelisko;25855214]The known issue includes the MMI not coming on at all. Buy an MMI fiber optic bypass loop and start isolating components one by one. I would start with the most common component that fails which is the Sirius Satellite Radio module. Watch carefully my video below.
