Default Bluetooth Module & Dying Car

I've had my A6 for a while now, and I'm getting very tired of carrying a speaker in and out of the car to listen to music. My MMI still doesn't work and I have reasons to believe that the telephone/bluetooth module under the driver side carpet is the culprit. I don't have access to VCDS, but I have used an optical loop to test out the modules that function with the MMI. After testing all the modules in the left side of my trunk, I got absolutely nothing on the screen. (No Splash screen or anything ever on the screen) I've been researching possible ways to fix this and I believe the telephone module is the main culprit for the MMI not showing the splash screen for a few seconds. I understand that in order to get to this module I have to pull off trims to remove the carpet, but I can't figure out how to properly remove the trim. I also replaced the battery not too long ago and my battery still dies a day or 2 after jumping it. If my theory about the bluetooth module shutting down my mmi is correct, could it also be possible that its also draining my battery over night?

These are two threads I made when I replaced my BT module. https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-...pedal-2915553/ and https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a6-...ement-2916240/

At this point I think I can rule out that the BT Module, the Controller, and Sirius Radio are fine. Everything else doesn't seem to get the optical connection (AMP, Radio, Nav) Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated. Car is also dying pretty much every night, if anyone knows any information on how to rule out that issue as well.

Is it possible a PO bricked the MMI attempting a software upgrade that went awry?

A VCDS scan likely would be helpful.

That could be possible, but I'm unsure. The car was a gift from my grandparents, and apparently the MMI hasn't been working for a while. Is there anyway to get a detailed scan for cheaper or should I just suck it up and spend the money to buy the HEX-V2? If I do end up purchasing my own VCDS system, will it even be worth the money for Coding my battery, and the Optical Scans?
