Strut Type Compatability
I have a failing front strut with the o ring at the top of the damper leaking. I have ordered a rebuild kit, but I am also thinking longer term for replacement of entire struts.
My car has Sport Air suspension, and I was wondering, what would actually occur if I installed struts made for the normal air suspension cars as these are way more available?
I would think the sport suspension ECU would keep the lower ride height and it would simply be the case that the damper valving rates would be slightly different.
Would there be any errors etc? Has anyone tried this?
