Oil leaks

These oil leaks are super common and it doesn't take much oil to leak out to cause some smoke on the exhaust manifold. Getting to the valve covers is a pretty standard procedure, you'll remove all the ignition coils and some stuff from the top of the engine, and using a T25 remove all of the bolts. Gaskets can be purchased from rockauto, and OEM replacement bolts can be found on amazon in big packs. You should absolutely replace all the bolts and use some tacky gasket sealant like Permatex 80062 High Tack Gasket Sealant. I went through this process twice on my V10 S8 and the new gaskets only took when I replaced the bolts AND used sealant.
It should take a couple of hours with some basic tools and care. Make sure to change your oil and replace the cabin air filter after you're done, it'll be soaked with that burning oil smell.
